Before you start each job, ask the customer for their cell phone number, so you can call them when their car is finished.

After they pay you, ask them "if they would give you "5 Stars" on Google?"   If they say 'yes', tell them:

Finally --  at the end of every job...

At our Service Center we learned to give each customer a "ten dollar off" coupon as a "Thank You" and cash receipt.

We call this our "advertising budget".

We tell customers that "the sun is so strong in the southern United States, that most of our customers get their headlights refinished once a year or at least once every other year.   Every make and model of car will be different.   It mostly depends on whether you park in the sun or park in the shade.  Your headlights stay shiny for 2, 3, 4 months (every car is different), but stay clear much longer."

We encourage customers to come back anytime they want.   This is why we give them a coupon as a receipt.


We have found that this optional giveaway has 3 powerful benefits --

1)     It makes every customer feel happy and confident about buying from us.   The coupon puts a smile on their face.   They leave good reviews on Google, Facebook and Yelp, especially if we ask them to.

 

2)     We also get a loyal customer who refers friends, family and co-workers to come visit us.   Plus, our happy customers come back every year or two.   Coupons work like a charm.


3)     Whenever a previous customer uses their coupon, new people see that we take good care of our satisfied customers.   Plus, our old customers say nice things about us to all the new watchers.
